It’s a great honour for me that I take over the presidency of this club – as I look around the room and remember the list of Past Presidents I am very conscious of those that have gone before me in this office.

They have all certainly set the bar very high and my ambition will be to do as well as they all have during their years in office.

However I do believe that I do create a new record in that I have previously been the President of Lytham Men’s Forum which meets on a Wednesday Morning with a similar programme of Speakers.  I know that there are several members of both clubs.

Since joining in 2010 I have enjoyed many meetings listening to some interesting talks.

Long may you, me and the club keep its traditions flourishing.

I would just like to thank everybody for their support and to say that I'm looking forward to the challenge and going forward with our excellent Club.

We are now going to have a summer break until our next season which starts on Thursday October 5th with registration on the previous day from 10.30 to 12 noon.  Let's hope everyone will have an enjoyable holiday.
