President's Evening 2018 with Mike Bell

The President's Evening is an
annual event in which your President invites all Past Presidents, Life Members
and Committee Members to join him for an evening dinner. Since the function
doesn't benefit the whole Membership it cannot draw on Club funds so has to be
paid for in full by the participants, although any surplus does go to the Club. This year our President Mike Bell chose Lytham Hall for the venue and we were entertained wonderfully by Brian Halliwell (who has often given us very popular talks at our meetings) again making us laugh with recollections of famous comedians of the past, such as Arthur Askey. Very well received by everybody - we didn't want him to stop! |
